On the 23 of August 2024, the residents of Pringle Bay gathered to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the Fynbos CBD Project.
In the two weeks since the celebration, Carel Laubscher and his team have been hard at work preparing Sites 2 and 3 for planting.
Take a look at the photos to see the fruits of their labor.
On September 7, 2024, the PBRA will host another event, where the residents of Pringle Bay will celebrate Arbor Week by giving children the opportunity to plant fynbos in the newly prepared sites.

Time: 10:00 – 10:45
Venue: CBD Fynbos Garden, Corner of Diagonal & Central Road, Pringle Bay
What to bring: Small spade or fork – Fynbos plants will be provided
At this family orientated event we will begin with a short orientation and some comments on the Fynbos we are nurturing and about to plant. The Fynbos will be provided. This will be of interest to all ages.
