Disaster Management Plan

In January 2019 Pringle Bay and the neighbouring towns experienced devastating fires which highlighted the critical need for effective emergency procedures in the village. The PBRA convened a task force, consisting of the Pringle Bay Street Watch, community members and various relevant authorities, to drive the project.

The result is a Disaster Management Plan which incorporates input received from residents and aligns with the Overstrand Municipality Disaster Management Policy. Simulated emergency drill practices will be conducted from time to time, the public will be advised before these take place.
