Level 9 Storm Warning

The Pringle Bay Disaster Management Team has been activated. First Responders consisting of Fire and Rescue, Street Watch and Pringle Bay Medics are on high alert standby. In the event of loss of communications, all urgent communication will be done via megaphone by the Street Watch sector heads.

Practical advice for the community:

  • Ensure phones are charged, torches ready, fill up some bottles with clean drinking water
  • Save important numbers to your phones
    As long as cellular comms hold, vital updates will be distributed through the following channels:
    • Disaster Management Group on Telegram. This channel is open to all residents 
    • Members of the Pringle Bay Street Watch will receive communication through the SOS channel, which is open to members of the Street Watch
  • Assist vulnerable neighbours where necessary
  • Secure windows and doors
  • Travel is not recommended
  • Please don’t post unverified information: we suggest you check any news reports with your Street Watch Sector head
