On 27 February, a group of community volunteers successfully removed the bottom three strands of wire from the newly erected barbed wire fence along the Pringle Bay boundary with the Brodie Link Reserve.

This was done to enable safe and unrestricted movement by small animals between the Brodie Link Reserve and the urban area.

Wires were carefully removed and neatly recovered for re-use by Cape Nature.

The PBRA wishes to thank all the community volunteers who answered the call to assist with this task that was coordinated by the PBRA, in support of Cape Nature.
